The Coral Restoration Project was established by Aviv Levi, the Scientific Director of the Underwater Observatory Park, who appeared on the “New Day” program with Dan Shilon and Tali Moreno and explained about the coral restoration project that has been ongoing at the Underwater Observatory Park for many years.

Did you know that coral is a living creature? And that it is possible to restore and replant corals into the sea? The staff at the Underwater Observatory Park in Eilat is investing considerable resources in raising awareness to preserve nature and wildlife in the Gulf of Eilat.

Aviv Levi, the Park’s Scientific Director, was invited to appear on the morning show – “New Day”, on Channel 2, hosted by Dan Shilon and Tali Moreno. He talked about the project to restore and plant corals that has underway for many years. Eilat school-children take part in the project, thus becoming ambassadors for the preservation of nature and wildlife in the Gulf of Eilat.
